Brandi and Jarrod of the Now and Then Thrift Store located in Orange California participated in this show hoping to get some cheap storage units. The couple had no idea the show was about to make them reality-TV superstars. In the course of the series, their couple became a star. Following they appeared on the TV reality show, the couple was able to increase their business. Their appearance in "Storage Wars" also inspired a spin-off program "Brandi & Jerrod: Married to the Job' that is exclusively featuring the couple.
